PSU+Inrush controller

Description

This compact, low noise amplifier power supply measures 127mm x 85mm and takes four 35mm diameter (10mm pin spacing) 63V reservoir capacitors, a bridge rectifier and a mains inrush control circuit and is rated for up to 600W when paired with a suitable transformer.  It is an ideal power supply for the new nx2-Amplifier, or any amplifier requiring up to 55~60V supply rails that also needs mains inrush current management. Power ON/OFF control is accomplished using an anti-vandal switch, of which there are many attraction options. The connectors are all grouped to allow neat wire bundling and to reduce loop areas and noise. Convenient supply and AC detect connections for use with the Hifisonix speaker protection board are provided.  Only one PCB is needed for a stereo amplifier.
